Thor Industries Elkhart Riverwalk Grand Prix Postponed until 2021

The Thor Industries Elkhart Riverwalk Grand Prix is postponed until 2021 due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation. Cancelations and postponements of events around the country due to Covid-19 have unfortunately become the normal in 2020. Unfortunately, due to the current percentage of Covid-19 cases and working within the guidelines of reopening of the State of Indiana hosting the 2020 event has been postponed until 2021.

For months the City of Elkhart, USAC, and the State of Indiana have been working together and establishing plans for the 2020 event. There were many factors to look at with the health of everyone involved being paramount. With the health and safety of the spectators and competitors alike along with the aspects of not being able to host an event to the expectations of the fans, the difficult decision was made to postpone the event until 2021.

This is an event that is dependent upon allowing spectators to enjoy free concerts, events, and racing in the streets of Elkhart together. Refunds for competitors will be provided as well as rolling over the USAC Bucks from the 2019 event. Everyone is already working for future of the Thor Industries Elkhart Riverwalk Grand Prix and providing the great event that everyone has come to expect for 2021. We hope that everyone stays healthy through the ongoing events of Covid-19 so that they can once again enjoy the Thor Industries Elkhart Riverwalk Grand Prix in 2021.
